Prospect Elementary School's Fundraiser

Help Prospect Elementary School give the gift of clean, safe water!

Donations will help fund the drilling of new wells to create more sources of clean water in South Sudan.

$21,186 towards $15,000

This year, the Prospect Elementary School EcoPanther Club is learning about & educating others about the importance of water conservation & access to clean water. The 5th grade students are reading Salva Dut's story, A Long Walk to Water. Salva's perseverance in the face of adversity and his commitment to bringing clean & safe water to his native South Sudan have compelled us to action through the Iron Giraffe Challenge. As an entire school, we are working to raise enough donations to drill one new well through our Wishes for Wells Fundraiser!

Wells give villages easier access to water that is clean and safe to drink.

These water wells empower girls to attend school and women to find work and earn an income instead of spending their days trekking long distances in unsafe conditions for water. They allow villages to build schools, clinics, and markets that can be sustained. They empower families to build small business and homes so that they can provide for their families' futures.

Join us in supporting good in the world and help us make a difference!

A donation of any amount will go a long way to helping us meet our goal of raising $15,000 to support Water for South Sudan.

Visit the website to learn more about Salva Dut, his organization, and his vision for South Sudan.

Cash donations may be made at the school.

In the interest of student safety, please do not include children's first names on the donor line. For example, we would prefer "The Smith Family" to "Jane Smith" if Jane is a Prospect Student.
