"I am so proud of the work the amazing students at Wake STEM are doing to bring awareness to and take action on global water and sanitation issues!"
During fall 2017, students from Wake STEM Early College High School in Raleigh, NC are learning about and conducting collaborative inquiry projects on Every Drop Counts: Global Water and Sanitation Issues through Project-Based Inquiry (PBI) Global. To get us started, we are all reading Salva Dut's story in A Long Walk to Water. Salva's perseverance in the face of unbelievable adversity and his commitment to bringing clean and safe water to his native South Sudan have compelled us to action through the Iron Giraffe Challenge. On November 21, 2017, we will be holding a Walk for Water and are accepting donations through this site to raise funds for Water for South Sudan, Inc.
Just a small donation will go a long way toward helping us meet our $1,000 goal for Water for South Sudan, Inc. All people need reliable and clean water sources. Please join us in making this a reality in South Sudan!
